Project Polish

Privacy policy

Last updated 29 October 2026

Project Polish is made and run by Electrodigitech ("we"). This page explains what the Project Polish app and this website collect, what we do with it, and your choices. Questions: emman2002tech@gmail.com.

What the app does

You open a Word file or paste text, choose layout settings, and the app returns a formatted Word file and PDF. To do this, your text is sent to our server, where it is laid out.

What we collect

Cookies

When you sign in, we set one cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It cannot be read by page scripts and is sent only to our site. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and this website does not load third-party scripts, fonts or analytics.

Why we use it

We do not sell your data, show advertising, or use your documents to train any system.

Who else handles it

We share nothing else, except when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can delete your account yourself inside the app, under your account screen, and it is removed straight away. If you cannot sign in, follow the steps on the delete your account page. You can also write to emman2002tech@gmail.com for any request about your data. If you live in Nigeria, you also have the rights given by the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, including the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Security

Connections to the app are encrypted, passwords are stored in scrambled form, and repeated wrong passwords lock sign-in for a while. No online service is perfectly secure, so please do not put in anything you are not willing to upload to a service like this.

Children

The app is for students and researchers and is not meant for children under 13. If you believe a child has made an account, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for signed-in users, say so in the app.
